1977.

Charlie Alexander, Carlos Carson, Mike Quintella, Steve Ensminger, David Woodley and Willie Teal were the players I remember most from that team.

Best early memory was beating Arkansas in the 1966 Cotton Bowl with Joe LaBruzzo.

1965. I saw my first game in 1962. And there's that name Joe Labruzzo again.

But when was the first season you actually took it all in and became a dedicated fan, emotionally invested in the program?

1987...listened to Jim every Saturday due to not having a TV. Been through lots of lows and highs, but wouldn't trade being a LSU fan for anything.

I played high school football at Barbe and was in the same graduating class as Justin Vincent. When he was recruited by LSU is when I started paying attention to LSU and college football. Year 2000 final answer

The 1997 Football Season while sitting having lunch at Buds Broiler on Jefferson Hwy. Heavy rain during the game and Kevin Faulk could not be stopped in TS. Hooked ever since.

1982. Oldest sister's first semester at LSU. Attended several games before then but many more after. She caught an orange in the eye during the FSU game and still had a black-eye over the holidays. I remember thinking...how did all of those oranges get into Tiger stadium. Loved that game and probably sold me on attending LSU myself.
