I'm a youngin. 2002 I really started paying attention because my dad used to watch Shyrone Carey because he is friends with his dad. Cried when we lost to Arkansas at the last minute smh. That TD pass to that Running back Decorey Birmingham or something was his name. Good times. It's the reason I have a damn LSU degree.

For me it was the 96 season. Kevin Faulk will likely always be my favorite Tiger! LSU over Florida in 97 was HUGE in the eyes of this 10 year old at that time!

Early 60's when we on occasion would punt on 3rd downs, because of field position and our defenses were that good. It's in my DNA from my dad, and the years of radio listening to the greatest voice of John Ferguson. Loved it.

Early 1970's, but the first game that I remember listening to on my own and knowing the opponent prior to game day , was the 1979 game against USC. We were robbed.

My 1st LSU game was on Oct. 1,1966. I celebrated my Golden Jubilee the same night Coach O celebrated his debut as the Tiger coach. 1966 was a rebuilding year for the Tigers but I remember the talk at the beginning of the year being about the previous year's LSU-Tulane game which marked the 3rd time in 7 years we beat them 62 - 0. Everyone thought it was funny. The only game I missed in 1966 was the 1st one which was featured the return of Paul Dietzel as coach of South Carolina. I was 8 years old and have been hooked ever since. There has always been something magical about Tiger Stadium.

1982. The Dalton and James gang was all my classmates could talk about when I was in the 7th grade.

I didn't care about football at all until 2003 when LSU won the championship. Ever since then I follow religiously.

2009, my freshman year.

I was always a fan, and enjoyed it growing up, but until I was a student and invested, I was missing out.

Gotta be the year Harvey Williams was going to be the Heisman... or at least I thought so. Probably 1989ish. In hindsight, the worst time you could possibly become a Tiger fan.

Somewhere between 1971 and 1973.
I remember Bert Jones, Ben Jones, Brad Davis, Tyler Lafauci, Tommy Casanova...I guess 1971, I was 4 going on 5.

My dad relocate our family from Alabama to Louisiana in 1966. I would say that 1973 was the year I crossed over.

I went from Johnny Musso fan to Brad Davis fan.
