the vendetta against Jamarcus is worse IMO

I was thinking of this. Guy had no issues while a student and played great.

It's a weird thing. He was a bust in the NFL, people hate him. Simmons isn't a bust and won't be in the NBA, people hate him for not doing enough at LSU.

Jamarcus coming out as a Bama Boy after leaving LSU rubbed a lot of our fans the wrong way. Much more than him being an NFL bust.

When some posters can take a positive post about our OL coach and turn it into a 12 page O bash thread, that is your answer.

Well the problem with this is that no one can talk about Orgeron candidly without it being considered bashing.

I didn't realize people had a problem with JR.

Yea, the dumbass bama boy chain was a head shaker especially being he is from LSU, but in all honestly black dudes routinely do and wear things many white people find weird and headscrath worthy.

It has to be the segment of our fan base that has this strange vendetta with Ben Simmons, right? Surely it has to be the topic where our fans blame Ben Simmons for LSU's 2015 bust season, not the drooling moron, Johnny Jones, right?

If you read the argument, it has nothing to do with his performance on the court, but more about what he did off of it.

He’s shite on LSU nearly every chance he’s gotten, and pretty much forced Johnny’s hand to not play in the NIT.

I wouldn’t expect Ben to be like Shaq and come back for games every year and donate millions to the university.

Give me a break. He’s literally never shite on LSU. Spare me that shite. And lol at blaming Jones and Alleva’s lack of spine on Simmons.

Are we not allowed to discuss our opinions on the football program in the offseason? That's odd. I'm also not sure you know what "candidly" means.

Dude You're fully vested in Ben Simmons.
We get it. He's your favorite.

Btw, I downvote every post you make, regardless if I bother reading it or not.
Didn't want you to spend any unnecessary time wondering about it.

It's a polarizing topic I think it's asinine the way people attack him. He's far from my favorite, but I did enjoy watching him play and still do.

Quit on the team, thought he was too good for the NIT (and class).

Interesting case - he was awesome at LSU, and was a good ambassador and well-liked when he was here. Then comes Bama Boy and Purple Drank.

Lee vs. Jefferson

Each very flawed, but Lee definitely had more upside and big play potential. I'll always appreciate JJ's gutsy performance in the GotC though.

Trindon to DE

This one was just... i mean... no. To play devil's advocate, sure you could put him at corner to blitz, but everyone in the stadium would know.

The greatest coach in LSU history, fired midseason and never fully appreciated. But...

Ed Orgeron

is going to fix that

People attack him because, while he was enjoyable to watch, he didn't act like the leader on and off the floor people expected him to be.

So while you may think it asinine that people dis him....the digs aren't completely unjustified.

And furthermore, I've been a Sixers fan since Dr. J was running the floor....so I'll pull for BS but only as an means to an end.

The uniform color discussions have got to be the dumbest waste of bandwidth on here. They get pretty heated and polarizing though. Should we wear purple with yellow? ... Or yellow with purple? And what about white? Those ladies can get pretty opinionated!
