What would you do if LSU became a bad football team for years?

Would you dump your tickets? Maybe spend the money traveling?

Would you move on to other interests and hobbies, and perhaps replace your LSU football obsession with something more productive and healthy?

Would you take up shooting heroin, or cut your own throat on a CATS bus while streaming on Facebook Live?

I think many of you people would absolutely lose it.

A continual series of blunders sets back programs for years so don't be surprised if that does in fact happen.

We joke about it but to truly turn a program around, it takes several recruiting classes and a proven coach who has done it before. That coach costs $$.

I’d cheer for them on Saturday and go to work on Monday. Same as when they are good, like right now.

Well, I'm a season ticket holder that lives 1000+ miles away and would probably dump my season tickets for a few years. My wife already forces a beach vacation during bama weekend. Gotta tell you, she's a bit of a genius.

I my doesn’t take a proven coach, just a good one.

There have been some quick turnarounds too.

The Model for success that Saban used is still there and Kirby is using it at UGA too.

Lock up the state and cherry pick from the neighbors. Good coaching.

We have lacked the later for a while on the offensive side of the ball.

I would remind this board every day that they had the most successful coach in LSU football history in charge of the program, and supported firing that coach and handing the future of the program over to Joe Alleva.

Same thing that we did in the 90's. Watch and support this team! That was when there was no ESPN2, ESPNU, WatchESPN, SECN and ect!

We still bought Tigervision and watched them and supported them! I know, I worked for the cable company and we ran like chicken's with our heads cut off on Saturday nights installing and working on Tigervision problems

I went through it my college years under Archer and then Hallman

Still got season tickets the year Dinardo was hired

Have not hit breaking point yet but the cost of attendance for just one game is really making me think about it long and hard, and yeah, for me, a vacation with the family far outweighs any athletic event I've ever attended. But yet, I still go because I enjoy the sport. Even in the lean years, it was worth it going watch a player like Emmitt Smith in Tiger Stadium, win or lose!

Would drink heavily, eat a ton of food, and watch the games every Saturday with my friends and family.

Why take that chance when there are other options that have worked for LSU in the past?

Mike Archer was a good coach. Curley Hallman was a good coach as USM. Both were disasters at LSU.

Saban was a proven coach at MSU. Miles at OSU. Let's stick with the formula that saw LSU through the most successful period of football in program history: Hire a coach that has proven he can succeed in a Power 5 conference.

Already lived through it. Tickets were cheaper then so not a big deal to keep them.

Focus on other hobbies and drink more. I went to some games in the 90s and would still go to a game every year or so because I just like going back to campus.

Another prolonged downturn won't happen because there is too much money to be made by putting a contender on the field.

He was. He lost is step. He needed to go. He wasn't the same coach in 2015 that he was in 2005-2011. Your point is ridiculous.

Have had season tickets since 69 .. and yes , there were some very lean years.

The accidental death of Bo Rein sent it all in a downward spiral, but at the end, his family suffered more than we did.

It's a game.

I've lived through years of bad LSU football before and still watched every game. It's hard to be letdown when your expectations are very low.

Yay for LSU. Now we get to play coaching carousel for who knows how long. Miles just needed an OC. You are wrong and the state of the program should be proof enough.
