Attendance is down everywhere.

Even the NFL is having attendance trouble.

The experience you get st home in front of your own TV now a days, coupled with administration trying to make a dime off anything and everything from tailgating to $8 for a coke. Not even getting started on the alcohol angle. There are a million different contributing factors.

LSU isn’t alone in the issue.

1) Concession vendors walking the aisles throughout sections (kills the urge to leave once you're already up)
2) Allow those vendors to sell booze (outside of student section only, show ID to vendor on first purchase, get a stamp on your hand to show proof of age and to speed up the process for next purchase)
3) DESIGNATED SMOKING SECTIONS OUTSIDE OF SEATING (IMO the biggest reason a vast majority of people dip out early. ppl just want to freedom to burn joes without the feeling that you're committing a felony crime if the wrong cop catches you)

I'm wrong? Did you see Saban's rant yesterday? Apology accepted.

Fans are doing it at universities across the nation. Nothing to do with LSU, a winning or losing team, etc. Different generation these days from students to people in their 50's. With that said, it wouldn't hurt to serve beer throughout all of TS and a full blown bar with a hefty cover charge in atleast 2 opposite areas in the stadium....you know, for us regular folks to enjoy ourselves for 3 to 4 hours.

Students swipe their IDs when entering and when leaving. Those that stay the longest get ranked higher to get tickets to future games?

A longer attention span. All media seems to be geared towards quicker and shorter ways of reading, seeing, or comprehending things.

Better check your facts. Bryant Denny was half empty at the start of the game. Players were actually tweeting about it which led to the Saban rant. Learn yo facts boy.

I seriously think this will be coming. They just think they can make money on concessions...

People also aren’t sticking around post-game like they used to. Beer in the stadium is kind of nice but won’t keep many fans unless you’re right near there. Maybe a post-Game raffle or lottery of some sort...

a lot of TRUE good reasons have been given by many, but
IMHO, a big factor for LSU's departure is the length of time that people have to devote to GETTING HOME....(traveling+ exiting the stadium area)
MANY leave because of where they live.
