I see myself ready to get something done until I start replaying Slaughter sliding into second over and over again in my head until I look at the time and an hour has gone by. This process will repeat until a full day has gone by filled with nothing getting done and thinking about what could've been. frick Florida.

I flip the switch and devote myself to work. Season is over. Time to catch up.

I will get over it pretty quickly...thank goodness the natives (Ole Miss and Moo St.) at my office are pretty docile. Thinking about Slaughter sliding into second and killing that chance does make me sick, though.

Good attitude. I'll follow that instead.

I live in Austin and I'm the only LSU fan.... I'll be walking into a bunch of "sorry buddy" and "whomp whomps". I have meetings from 9 to 12. I plan to start drinking at noon.

Unless you live in Florida I'm sure it will be fine. Even then I bet that most of the people in Florida didn't even know or care UF was playing for a National Championship.

Be all In During the game but after move on and Realize that the outcome of a game played by 18-22 year olds have zero affect on your life. I started following this motto and it has worked out great for me. I enjoy the actual games more now not nearly as stressed out as I used to be.

It is just college baseball. It should not be messing with your work life unless you are in fact Paul Maineiri. In that case it should mess with your head a bit.

Damn. I guess I made it seem like it was consuming me more than it actually is.
