Didn't UNC win the national title the year their academic scandal was fully revealed where they had fake classes players got credit for and did not attend, because...well, they were fake?
To my knowledge that national title still stands and nothing of significance was ever done to UNC, a year of fairly toothless probation and Roy still coaching...no Vitale screaming for him to be fired and for UNC to sit out any post-season.

NCAA won’t let that happen. If we make a run they will have the refs eliminate us in the sweet 16/ elite 8. No way they let us get to the final four.

So in other words, we could be alright? It would be so badass to win a title in basketball after all this garbage. Even sweeter than just winning without extra attention.

It would be beautiful to make that run. If LSU’s get’s into the elite 8, all the teams remaining will very likely have public allegations as bad or worse than what LSU has right now, some way worse when you look at UNC. The media will latch onto this and LSU would be the enemy and this story will grow but the catch is the chickenshit coach sitting on the other side of the table will never want to discuss and wont be able to say shite because the fire could be turned right around on them. What the frick could Roy Williams say? Or K? Or Calipari? I honestly think the more LSU wins the more of a frick you to everything around them it is. It would be awesome to have a final 4 of LSU, Duke, UNC, and Kentucky. The story will have grown so much. Then, let’s sit there on Gameday and talk about recruting violations.
