And the coaches never make a mistake. Clearly Malveto was the best hire Miles could have made. Clearly we should have just keep running JV up the middle against Auburn in 2006. Clearly the best move was to keep Chales Scott on the bench in the second half against Kentucky in 2007. Fear da HAT!!!

All Im saying is that RJ starts over a RR there's probably a good reason why.
seniority > talent?

I'm not saying the hands are there, but RJ Jackson always reminded me a little of Josh Reed with the size and position change. I think we just have better WR than when Josh was here so the QB's don't have to throw to one guy like Rohan did. I wonder if Reed would have gotten as much PT as a sophmore/freshman with LaFell, Tolliver and Early on the team???
Before everyone goes crazy, I know Reed >>> RJ.

like when keiland and charles were on the bench as freshman until miles figured out that KW was pretty damn good?
Keiland missed fall practice due to clearinghouse issues, he arrived a few days before the first game...by most accounts, it was mid-season before him and CS knew enough of the offense to be counted on. Of course I guess they could have just thrown out the playbook and gone with "talent"...
"Toss to Keiland, everybody find someone to block, on 2"

Two changes I would have made for Auburn 2006:
1. Flynn would have come in for at least one series
2. Scott/Williams would have come in for at LEAST a couple of plays.

none, coaches know more about whats going on than td posters..
Apparently you weren't a fan when Josh Reed was sitting the bench while Craig Nall and some other walk on quarterback were playing WR because we had no depth.

agree somewhat, but I would have preferred they had a package for him that could have been put in at any time like we had for RP, with an equal threat to run or pass...of course this was Jimbo.

given the blocking, not sure they would have been much more effective.

My initial reaction to seeing RJ Jackson starting ahead of Randle will be curiosity... if Jackson is ineffective ala Vincent/Broussard around 2005, then I'm sure I will second guess the coaches. If Jackson performs well, I'll be happy for him. And if Randle does start ahead of Jackson, I'll feel a little bad for Jackson, figuring he never did fully come back from the injury.

I'm well aware of what he said after the game but do you honestly think that had shite to do with the outcome of that game?

julio had an NFL body and physicality at 18 years old randle is more explosive and a better athlete, but he doesn't have JJs body. sorry
disagree that Randle is more explosive and better athlete than Julio. Hope I'm wrong, but I really don't see Randle performing at the level Julio did his first year. Julio is a freak.
