1970 vs Texas A&M. Can't wait for them to officially join the SEC.

Not sure what year, but it was Rice when I was about four or five years old in the sixties. Yeah, I'm old.

First Game-1992 vs. Colorado St. What a shambles. We were 14 pt favorites and lost 17-14. My buddy and I bought 2 tickets from a dude for $20 total. Times have changed.
First experience with LSU Football-My 8th grade football team came to LSU to play U-high in 1987. We got to watch LSU practice and meet all the players after. Hodson, Andolsek, Wendell Davis, Mickey Guidry etc... Dave Browndyke gave me a wrist band. Very cool experience

I remember mine. It was the Kentucky game, 1979.
LSU came back from a 19-3 deficit and won it 23-19. And it was awesome to the 11 year old kid I was at the time. David Woodley, Steve Ensminger, Hokie Gajan, Jude Hernandez.....Those were guys were my heroes!

I had a class with Tom Tully, who was an OL during those years and now is a prof at the LSU vet school. Now and then he would tell some stories. He told us about a Kentucky game one year where the team was heavily favored but came out flat and wasn't doing much. Woodley or Ensminger, I forget which, came into the huddle near the end of the game and said "ok, guys, we need a touchdown to cover the spread." They promptly drove the length of the field on the most impressive drive of the night and scored

First full game was in 1997, auburn at LSU. They were 12, we were 10. Losing most of that game, but made a run towards the end. Lost by 3 or 4 irrc.
First time in tiger stadium was in '89. Dad was a graduate student at lsu and we lived across the street in those apartments. We snuck in late forth quarter and I'll never forget how large the players were from the sidelines. The helmets were beautiful... I'll never forget that feeling. No idea who we played that day.

Wow! That may have been 78....UK beat us in 77, and the 79 game was....closer than the mohawk haircuts most of the team had that year!

First LSU game ever was my freshman year, Tiger Stadium, Sept 19, 1959, when the defending national champs whipped Rice 26-3.
52 years later, most recent game was LSU-Oregon.

Utah State 2001, my freshman year.
My buddy who was a high school senior started out with 1 student ticket and started trading tickets. Traded the student ticket and $11 for 2 tickets at the top of the old upper deck. Started wheeling and dealing and ended up sitting in the lawn chairs at ground level in front of where Rohan Davey and the other quarterbacks were warming up. There was a huge rainbow over the stadium and the Tigers proceeded to beat Utah St on the way to an SEC Championship and Sugar Bowl victory.

My first was the '96 Alabama game when Shaun Alexander ran all over us. I do remember how amazed I was at all the stuff happening pregame. I did see Herbstreit walking around after the game. After that I knew where I wanted to go for college

LSU vs. Notre Dame - 1971. I was 8. I didn't know the significance of the game, at the time. But I remember it was a lot of fun, and they talked a lot about a couple of guys named Bert Jones and Tommy Casanova.
The thing I remember most is walking through the tunnel out into the stands and seeing this beautiful green field in the middle of a concrete bowl. It was so much nicer than the high school field in St. Francisville that was the only real football field I had seen up to that point. It was an amazing sight for an 8 year-old.
