Oregon State 1982. It was the first game for Hilliard-n-James Gang. Tigers put it on the Beavers 45-7.

November 14, 1987. Freshman year, newly arrived from San Diego and had no idea what I was in for; and growing up in SoCal had never really heard of LSU and was mainly an NFL fan. That all changed on that fateful night.
LSU 34, MSU 14.
First impression that I still remember: the smell of bourbon as I walked through the turnstile into the edifice known as Death Valley -- I was awed by the size of the building, the crowd, and the sheer number of gorgeous women in attendance. In a word, I was HOOKED.
Other: My friend was affiliated with BSA so he got me in in the chair back seat area around midfield. I remember being surprised at the old men sitting all around me passing around whiskey, getting hammered during the game -- cussing the refs and arguing about Hodson and Guidry.
What a night! I missed very few home games from that night till I moved away in 2005.
I will be watching the Tigers on Gameplan tonight, and hoisting an adult beverage in honor of the fans and traditions that are LSU football!

I was 10 years old. My dad got tickets from Sammy Grezaffi's brother. Thought I had died and made it to heaven! 1963 LSU-3 Ole Miss-37. Joe Labruzzo, Doug Moreau, Pat Screen, Sammy Grezaffi soph year before frosh played. Even though Ole Miss whipped our arse it is still one of my life highlights!

Hey rabbit. I remember Joe getting caught from behind on that punt return. After all these years Joe Labruzzo is still my all time favorite LSU football player!

My Dad took me to Miss State or Ole Miss in 1947. I was 9 yrs old. LSWU won. Been a tiger fan ever since. Haven't missed a home game since 1999. Was in Nam when tigers lost to ND 3-0. Refused a dust off ride to Cam Rahn Bay so I could listen to game on AFRN at the field unit. Was stationed in Miss when the tigers got their revenge in 71.

Rice 1973. My Dad let me pick which two games I wanted and for some reason I picked Rice (liked the name I guess) and the Homecoming game Miss. St.
LSU won 27-9 and I made my Dad stay until the last play. He musta really loved me because he hated traffic with a passion.

1985 v. Tulane, I was three years old. I remember none of it, but I'm glad I got to be there for a Tigers win in New Orleans. I like to think that it started a deep hatred for Tulane deep down inside of my soul.
