Out starting left tackle and fullback may have had something to do our offensive struggling.

There were none. All injuries. Zero lying to us again.

Several guys were serving suspensions that go back to the summer. We should be close to full force against Auburn.

I asked basically the same question in another thread. Are these surprise weekly suspensions with no reasons given the norm?

Hanagriff alluded to the suspensions on the radio Friday. He claimed he had no information but to remember that there is a rule that allows suspensions to be handed out for any of the first four games and doesn’t necessarily have to be the FIRST game. He said that if there were suspensions for things that happened over the summer to look for for them to happen for SLU.

Is this true? If so, there is no integrity left in this game.

I have no idea. Just passing along what Hanagriff said on his show. It would make sense though, and looking back, I’m pretty sure he knew about the suspensions forthcoming.

I love it !! That's what Alabama would do. Let's play the suspension game to our benefit for a change.

I think my response was spot on. Bag? I do t even know what that means to be honest. A hag was a homely looking woman who wasn’t married I. My day.
I’m not a woman and am married to since graduation at LSU in ‘72.
So STTDB.

This is true. Also, if its allowed to suspend a player within the first 4 games you are also abiding by the rules.

If it was mandatory first game of the season and you bypassed discipline and "wink wink" were "hurt" for the second game against what should be a win, that is losing integrity.

Being suspended for any game is a huge punishment. You only get 12 opportunities a year to play football. Taking one away is a very big deal

why punish the entire team by taking them out for a big game if you don't have to. It's not golf or tennis it's a team sport

LSU's third string should be better than SLU's first.

I can recall Houston Nutt suspended a running back for a game. The Razorbacks were behind and in danger of losing when he lifted the suspension and started playing the running back midway through the 3rd quarter. His reason: It wasn't fair to the rest of the team if they lost.
