Good God I near lost my damn mind! Missed holding calls. Pass interference, personal fouls?

Nothing SEC refs do surprises me any more.

The game yesterday did have the feel that the refs were going to keep it as tight as possible.

Well at least the bad calls didn't really affect the outcome of the game.

The 2 terrible calls in a row by the same side judge did really get the crowd into the game though. We boo'd for like 10 minutes straight.

Yes they did, as they affected the final score itself.

Remember the review of the tipped pass that negated a pass interference call? Well, my husband and son were like why are they reviewing it as it was clearly tipped.

Jim & Doug said something about the replay guys NOT TRUSTING the ref who made the call as he was the same one with the 2 terrible calls in a row.

I don't know ... just passing on what they said on the radio.

I wonder if they can hear the booing over the sound of the cash registers ringing up their payoffs.

We were all wondering why they were reviewing that one as well. Perhaps they were trying to show they were being imparital by actually reviewing something, although they knew there was no way it would be overturned.

I think that they were really checking on the refs call as he'd had 2 wrong. But what the hell do I know ... but the comment from Doug & Jim did make sense that time.

Yeah, at one point I was wondering if we were still actually booing the referees or something else.

They are probably so self-absorbed that they think they called a perfect game and the fans just don't understand.

Besides, even if the flag was merited, LSU fans still boo.

My boys are 18 and 13 ... my husband and I would prefer that they not boo ... ever, at least while sitting with us (yeah, yeah, I know).

BUT last night I looked at them both and was like "yeah, it's ok" ... and we surely added to the loudness.

This was the first game in a while that I felt the refs could have cost LSU the game.
