Crowd revved up with Bama player leaving field late and then you could hear a pen drop right after, amazing how quiet it got during the play

Hard to tell on TV. It was obviously loud because the microphones did that thing where it's at such a high volume it gets kinda quiet

Those aren’t accurate.
Espn has a real one and said they saw 110 and that was the highest they’ve had in a broadcast, for sure this year

110 db is like being just off the runway with a large passenger jet on its take off roll.

My watch measured 119db in the stands and apparently it’s within 3db accuracy. Would imagine on the field would be considerably higher.
