Check that the Jags were 9-7. Del Rio was the one who showed interest at first. He used to play for the saints and has a daugher that went to Lsu. I have spoken with her before about this and she says Jack was really interested in the position. Family ties=would of been here for a while

I like the idea of Del Rio at LSU, because I think he's a guy that can get a USC vs. LSU home/home done.
A Trojan for life with a Tiger wife!
(and daughter, if I recall correctly)
This should not be at the expense of Miles though.
He brought you guys a championship, and that buys him a season or two to right the ship, IMHO.

Completely agree, but next season all bets are final. Right the ship or feel the heat

Next season will tell the tale. There's so much talent on LSU's defense it's just sick. That two-headed DC thing has got to stop though.
It's like trying to eat a fast melting ice cream cone with a fork: Sometimes it'll work for you, but in the end you're stuck with an uncomfortable mess.

DelRio could not interview, per league rules, until after his season was over. bertman did not wait.
delRio's wife is from LA. I know, from a friend of his, former teammate, that he was interested.
