What was frustrating is that LSU should have just let Ole Miss score a TD around the 1:30

It would have been a rare site in football given the yards ole miss needed to still score but we were all thinking it

Charlie Weiss did that once at Notre Dame. I would have let them score too

They shouldn’t have punted the ball back to Ole Miss with more than 2 minutes left and only up by 2.

Exactly.
If you don’t make it on 4th and 5, and you know your defense can’t stop them, what difference does it make if they score from their own 20 or midfield?

Nah, should have gone for it on 4th down. If they don't make it, Ole Miss has shorter field to work with, score earlier and we have plenty of time left to score td to win

We were fortunate they scored when they did.
There’s not much you can do. We probably should have should have gone cover zero and blitzed everyone.
