I look on here for JR threads all the time but rarely find any!

JL might start and I hope he does. Because we have three very very good wr in front of him. And if he can beat all those guys out then he is better than anyone imagines.

Fobbs, Wright and Williams are good to go imho. Two of those three will pan out!

What about Boone? He is a player also. No one thinks that Jarvis won't be a great player but to come in as a true freshman and pass up all these guys is kinda ridiculous,

Hilliard is a very big tough back, I can see him in short yardage. Freak is gonna play. Rasco Will play but not start for a couple of years.

Freak is a given he'll play a lot. Landry will most likely be in most of the 4 receiver sets by the end of the season. If Shep had stayed in the slot I would think Landry would have a chance of starting by the end of the season, but unless Shep is just terrible he'll keep his spot.

Boone has looked good in limited time but I think Wright has better hands and we need that w/ our passing attack. Pretty sure Williams was just a 2 or 3 star. Landry should move ahead of him. Not just on star power but Williams played in a run heavy offense and Landry has been clutch and a proven stud.

I think Randle will end up not redshirting and get some time. I don't have much confidence in Francois and although I think Hatcher is a good fit at OLB, Randle could steal some time there.

I saw a bunch of the freshmen football players walking around outside of Middleton in the quad yesterday. One of the smaller skill guys who I couldn't recognize was walking next to La'El and yelled out, and I quote, "These white girls be dat fiya mane." La'El looked embarassed.

The only reasons I would think JR wasnt talked about as much is because of the addition of Mett, and that he decommited from oregon and signed just a few days before national signing day. The guy looks like he could be a beast a few years down the road though

Why do people think Landry will start?

Simple...he's a better WR than Shep, Boone, Fobbs, Wright.

That simple enough for ya.

not arguing at all, but Fobbs got a pretty significant amount of reps in camp last year before coaches decided to RS him.. could be a surprise guy this year.. i see fobbs as more of a slot guy and landry as more of a long side of the field guy though
