I always say "How 'bout 'dem Tigahs?"--never fails to get a good response.

a "Geaux Tigers" should always be responded to with a "YEAH! GEAUX TIGERS!" or a friendly "WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! YEAHHHH!!!!""

I ask them if they are from Louisiana and ask where they are from. Believe it or not I've run into LSU fans not from Louisiana. Met a USC fan today from California. Said that LSU last year looked like a team made up of professionals. He got injured and is stuck in Neb, but wants to get back home in Calif.

This is what I'm loving more and more. I ran into a guy at univ of ky hospital wearing a tiger hat. I said, "alright...a tigah fan." Told him I was an alum. He was not from LA...he just liked the school.

Wear your own LSU stuff everywhere. Then you won't have to say anything at all. Even if it's just a ball cap, then there you go - shows support for the team, and absolutely no reason for any UT-Austin, aTm, TCU, TT, Baylor, Houston, Rice, etc. fan to be wearing such, so all other LSU fans will know your allegiance.
Sorry if that's too simple.
