I have learned a lot from all you folks concerning the mlb draft. Have been following mlb for 50+ years and college ball for about 20 years after I spent some time in Baton Rouge in the late 90's-early 00's. The first time that I have really "followed" the draft and did not realize how important "signability" is in draft selections. Keep up the good work!!

As far as who ends up here...our hitters are still a big question mark. At least 6 guys are question marks at this point.
Pitching is a different story. The depth is absurd.
Hess (Jr.)
Walker (So.)
Hilliard (So.)
Labas (So.)
Storz (So.)
Todd Peterson (Jr.)
Gilbert (Sr.)
Beck (Jr.)
Fontenot (So.)
Kodros (So.)
Jaden Hill (Fr.)
Landon Marceaux (Fr.)
Cole Henry (Fr.)
Will Ripoll (Fr.)
Chase Costello (Fr.)
Riggs Threadgill (Fr.)
Rye Gunter (Fr.)
Easton McMurray (Fr.)
Aaron George (Jr.)
That's 19 pitchers. I doubt we could keep 20, but Vietmeier (So.) would probably be that guy if we go that route.

No way they only keep 15 position players, huh?

Looks like you have eliminated Reese, Moffett and TyPeterson

I think we end up keeping 19 pitchers. That would leave us with 16 position players. I think that's enough.
The only pitcher (of those 19) that could conceivably be let go is Kodros. We need him though, b/c he's the only probable returning lefty. We do have an incoming freshman that's a lefty, but he's a complete question mark.

You may see one or two to the incoming freshman decide to go JUCO for early playing time.

He also won't be pitching here next year.
