Her name will be "The Show." 7th female to sign with them. Will make her debut Friday, Feb 9 in Springfield, Mass. Would have never imagined this in a million years.

Avg pay about $66K-$78K. They will have multiple shows in Louisiana beginning April 14. Baton Rouge on April 21.

I read that the lowest WNBA salary is from the 151st ranked salary at just over $1,600. Highest almost $242k.

Crazy

She is now the 2nd former Lady Tiger to be a part of the Globetrotters. The great Joyce Walker was among the first few women who made the team.

She was cut from the women’s bball team after a few weeks..ridiculous…not enough teams to make room for the players.. and yeah op comments about pay is accurate… I bet she will make more yearly and have a longer career this route.. I hope so.. she earned and deserves a solid career…..

Thanks for sharing Joyce Walker. We didn't know about her back when she played at LSU. We only recently read about her. She played for Sue Gunter's teams in early 80's. She is native of Seattle, WA.
One of the greatest LSU players of all time. She still holds NCAA record 1,259 FG attempts. Holds LSU record 2,906 points (avg 25 points). There was no 3-point line when she played at LSU. She was All-American 2X. Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. There should be a banner for her in the PMAC. Many people consider her better than Augustus and Fowles. She is considered the greatest and most dominant WBB player from the state of WA. She is now HS coach in WA. What an amazing Lady Tiger. Hope she was able to attend the FL game last Sunday. She deserves recognition.

Not a lot of options out there to keep playing if you get cut from the WNBA, so good for her. The Globetrotters and definitely more entertaining than the WNNA anyway.

I played several pickup bball games with her back in the old field house in the 80’s. One of the Best players I ever played with! Passing, shooting was incredible!

I had some classes with her at LSU. She was one of the nicest and most humble people I have ever met. She used to recruit people in class to come watch the games back when no one cared. We would get her to come play pick-up games in the old gym armory. She was an incredible shooter. I went to see her get inaugurated into the LSU hall of fame. She even pretended to remember me and the pick up games.

This right here, tells you all you need to know about the WNBA. Great financial decision on her part.
