Lol well you won't see culp the rest of the year since we don't have a ST coach.

my son could have been kicking based on how his tryout went 2 years ago and BDP opted to stick to the three amigos we are saddled with now. And that's coming from our sessions working with Wade Richey, not just Daddy bias.

BDP was an idiot who simply parroted to CLM whatever Sailer told him. I’m not a Sailer fan as he overranks his athletes. I do some coaching and also have a son who is a HS kicker. Who was your son? Did he get to play some place?

Are you so impotent that you have to ask a message board what to think about an LSU player?! Grow a pair!

Coach O should take his shirt off and challenge him to a fight at the 50 yard line.

I think 90% of his problem is shaken confidence

Some kickers never recover from that.

Hopefully he does because i actually think he has the ability.

But I've seen it where they never recover

seem to ever get a great QB or Field kicker!
weve had a run of good Fzg kickers. Some pretty good and some really good.

I think Culp works it out

That was a 52-53 yard FG in the rain plus wet field conditions and hit the upright. The weak leg is not the problem

Agree but the las miss was because the weather was in his head. Looked like the holder was trying to tell him (before the kick) to take the cross wind into his kick.

Not “in his head”. He has developed mechanical flaw in his approach to the ball that is creating inconsistencies in contact. Very rarely does something like this just work it self out. Gotta work on it in practice and usually you can’t do it alone. He needs a quality kicking coach to show him the problem and help him work through it.

Les got to see my son kick plenty in HS. He played with Manny Miles. Kathy used to tell his Mother and me after almost every game that Les said he should be kicking in D1, but never handed us an offer.

And Wade told me exactly the same thing about Sailer. He was pretty upset when he kicked so well in his tryout and they didn't take him. Idk what kind of coach Sailer is, but he's obviously a good businessman and gets his clients scholarships.

He's a redshirt freshman, he'll get better.

That he, or whoever else the staff runs out there, needs to make their GD kicks.

No.

and is inaccurate.

As far as the last two weeks, yes.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for shitty field conditions and weather.
He almost nailed that 52 yarder
But idk what was up with that Arkansas game
