What seniors return for 2021?

What say you?
I think either Kirklin or McMath return, most likely Kirklin imo. I also think Anthony, Carter, Shanihan, Deculus and Logan could all return and boost their stock. Stevens would be wishful thinking.

McMath already accepted his invite to the Senior Bowl. He gone.

It's really anyone's guess right now, it probably wont be what anyone is expecting 1 way or the other. With it being such a weird year where seniors can return for 1 more season it's really just anyone's guess.
Of all the seniors on the roster the ones I do not expect back personally are McMath (senior bowl), Cox (senior bowl), Stevens and Deculus. The last 2 are both long time starters with plenty of tape and probably wont really have anything else to "Show" for the NFL.
Could also see Zach von Rosenberg leave since this is by far his best year and capitalize on what NFL stock he has as a 80 year old now.
I could still a number of others not coming back too like Farrell, Logan, Carter, Thornton, Lewis, Kirklin, Anthony, etc...

This is LSU. Just spare yourself the worry and just assume none will return.

Who wants to spend a 5th or 6th year in college?
Takes a special person.
LSU needs as many as possible to hold the scholarship numbers up.

Both of them have regressed though this year. You don’t think coming back and having a solid 2021 would improve their stock?
Also normally I would be worried about not meeting the 85 limit for scholarships but since we are so low anyways I don’t think that would be an issue with some seniors returning.

I think out of the two Deculus is more likely to return.

You obviously never went to college

There may be one or two who didn’t want their last year to play out like this. And not just on the field. Everything has been thrown out of wack off of it, as well. They can’t go about their days and hang out in the locker room or spend time with their teammates the same way.
This may not make a difference, but I could see a few wanting one more real season before leaving, especially if they aren’t going to be a high draft pick this year. Several of this group of seniors won’t be. We’ll see.

Name me any other seniors outside of maybe Cox that would be in the top 4 rounds. Don’t worry I’ll wait. I would have said Stevens last year if he improved but he’s severely regressed this year.

And that Wil be the end of his career. They are not playing the Senior Bowl. Book it

Although not a Senior the staff is worried about Brennan’s injury and if he will be able to play again.

The only guys I see possibly staying are Kirklin, Shanahan and Carter. I think the rest are gone. Andre Anthony has improved every game and I think he goes before the glut of freshmen DE get here next year. Ed Ingram, Stevens, McMath, Cox, ZVR, Gaye, Logan, Farrell, Thornton and Deculus are all gone. Deculus and Ingram should stay but Deculus has been here 37 years and Ingram is probably ready to take his chances in the league. Next year will be a lot more freshmen playing but I think we will be better than this year. The real year to make a run will be 2022.

If you can’t get a Masters degree for free why not?

I honestly hope the OL leave. Have done absolutely nothing a freshman can’t do anyways.

I’d be very surprised if Deculus didn’t return.
