So that whole mth & a half when the bats were struggling, CPM deliberately sat a player who was "having great practices". Because he wanted to play one of his favorite players instead. I am curious as to two things: how do you know he was having such great practices? Who were these favorites who got unearned playing time according to this theory? You can talk to every non playing player on any team & they will all tell you that so & so is playing ahead of them because those players are the coach's favorites.

Why would CPM say foster was most improved player at beginning of season if he did not practice well?

Key words: "at the begining of the season". He was placed in the cleanup spot because of THOSE practices. Then dropped down & moved around. Because he was not producing, obviously. He got chances game after game after game. Yet he continued to have "great practices"?

I thought he said that about Stevenson, not Foster?

I'll give you a good example of favorites: Stevenson struggled all year at the plate last year and played almost every game, while Foster was riding the bench batting .359.

Foster played in 42 games last season. That's not exactly "riding the bench."

He started 15 games the entire season last year, many of those being midweek games. Pinch hitting late in games doesn't mean he didn't ride the bench. He had 64 total at bats the entire season in 2013. He had a .425 OBP. Only Mason Katz had a higher OBP. Andrew Stevenson last year had a .193 BA and a .289 OBP, yet he started 33 games and had twice the at bats. Stevenson is marginally better than Foster defensively, but also has half the arm he does. Plenty of people were baffled at the lack of PT Foster had last year.

Ok. I disagree with you.

I do think he will be drafted.

The only problem with your theory is he did have great practices! It's all about his favorites. Ask anybody that plays on the team.

He is not coming back because he will get drafted in the top 10 rounds. The coaches on his new team will scratch there heads and wonder why this kid was not an every day starter. In three years he will be called up.

He definetly won't be coming back now since PM outed him on the news. PM's fairy arse believes he should go to pro-ball where he has a chance to play everyday.
