It will depend on his combine and the next few weeks. I would say it could vary a lot. 2nd through 5th, I would guess. I know that is broad.

One thing to consider is that in pro day/ combine, he'll be throwing against air with no pressure. He'll probably shine because he won't be falling back bracing for a hit that might not even come.

I agree that his combine / pro day will be huge for him. Scenario #1: agent sells narrative “injured all year but healthy now” and Nuss throws beautiful passes (with no pass rush) and goes in 2nd round. Scenario #2: scouts ask him to throw 40 yards downfield (with no rush) and he is inaccurate and sails a few then drops to 7th round. Ie there won’t be any hiding the truth standing 10 feet in front of the scouts watching his mechanics. He literally might be better off hiring a QB coach and prepping for combine NOW.

I believe he will go mid second round third round. Especially is he performs well in his pro day and interviews, medical reviews etc…

I have a good sawce at the NFL Network who says he won't fall as far as well all think. He is from an NFL family and someone is going to think they can fix him from whatever the hell it was that happened this year.

good lord, man, his own dad has been a QB coach most of his career.

I'd think Nuss has probably received more instruction and advice from his own dad than any QB in history.

Id like to say 5th, but Maason Smith went 2nd.

Needless to say, 12 tackles and 3 sacks in 2 NFL seasons ain't exactly impressive, but he still went early.
Physical measurables and the eye test. Maason Smith was a bit of a physical freak, at a position where size/strength are necessary and speed/quickness can elevate you.

Nussmeier coming into the season had questions about his decision-making, and a big buzz about his arm.
He's done nothing about the questions, but he has also cast a lot of doubt on the arm. I haven't seen a single pass that looks "wow" in velocity this year. He NEEDS to show his arm is still there, or he's going undrafted.

His draft status is running backwards, just like he does under a pass rush.

Fifth and after a couple of years as a backup, he then starts coaching. His dad is too well connected for him to not get a taste of the NFL.

Something fundamentally changed with him this year, whether injury, scheme, mindset, luck, etc. He is not the same QB as he was last year.

5th round at the earliest. He has looked terrible this season.
