Do you think he's slower than he was as a freshman? If so, why and provide some context as to why. Because if those times are accurate, then he's pretty damn fast

I think it's possible he's a lot heavier and muscular. It's not a definite but more muscle sometimes leads to less flexibility and speed. And I'm more suprised about Lairds time being that slow than Deichman's being that fast at 180. I never thought Stevenson or Bergman were fast so that wasn't a big suprise. Fraley ran a lot faster at 195 than Deichman and I don't consider Fraley having elite speed for a major league prospect.

I didn't post towards you. You could have been comparing him and Fraley but I wasn't commenting on that. Then you jumped in and said what I posted wasn't true. It's ok to be wrong

Lol what? Didn't bregman swipe 40 bases a few years ago?

Stevensons speed grade has to be 75 or 80

7 one hundredths of a second at 60m is not a lot faster. Stevenson slow? What? Did you even read what was posted?

Dunno about Stevenson but Bergman has a 75 according to baseball cube and Deichman a 61 that's an up to the day site. That's why I was so shocked.

You said "because it's not true." That's a declarative statement not a speculative statement

You doubted there was a link then went on to say my info was untrue

You don't have to be a blazer to swipe bags dude. Vince Coleman was faster than Ricky henderson but henderson stole way more bags. Jose Canseco stole 40 bases one year.

Your exact statement was "I doubt there's a link since it's not true." Not seeing where he's misrepresenting what you said.

And that's saying something.

You mean in the same statement? So now it's a game of gotcha? Ok so how do times from 3 years ago prove anything about Deichman's draft prospects now? None of that info means anything today.

I've described Deichmann, Sr. as a stereotypical Little League dad. The only problem is Junior is in college now.
