Closer?
Reliever?
Mid-Week Starter?
Weekend Starter?
INF (2nd or 3rd)- I know this one seems the most bizarre, but he did come in as a highly touted SS. Scone said a scout told him they would still draft him later as a SS. We’ve seen Bain go from pitcher to position. Would only be if Jay can’t find a player to fill one of the positions on the INF from the portal, hs class, or what we have returning.

Needs to put on some weight/muscle. Make sure his back is 100%. Establish his fastball and hopefully add a few mph to it. Then he will be a super important bridge arm or closer for us chasing #9 to continue the dynasty.

Hes pitched a lot during his tenure here. I don't expect that he needs to do anything to get drafted and he might have decided hes won 2 Championships that its his time to move on.

He is one to keep an eye on but hes best in his closer role.

I just don’t see him playing the field at LSU. I’ve heard that the bat is not at the level needed to compete in the SEC.

I think he fits perfect in the closer role. I’m just unsure if he has enough in his arsenal to go 5+ innings week in and week out in the SEC as a SP. I could be wrong, but just don’t see it. He’s been damn good as a back end bullpen guy

Batting was his weakness as a position player. Likely a pitcher, mid reliever. When you need an, out he has had a lot of success spinning that slider and can get one.

Back to the pen. Jay will go back to the portal to get at least one stud SP, maybe 2. You can never have enough quality arms.

He is more important than ever next year with the reduced rosters. Won’t have enough position players for inter squad games and practices without two way players.

Son’s best friend, if not drafted, is going to a Big12 school and interested from all the big schools has been because he can pitch and hit. They have told him he will be moved from SS to OF to reduce stress on arm.

His college coach sent him to a college summer ball team out of state. Only allowed 40 pitches per week and one day in OF and rest of time he is only DH. They play six days/week.

He will probably still get drafted, even this year, someone would take a flier on him. He needs to go somewhere where he can be a weekend starter, I am not sure that is at LSU

If you are still saying this 3 years in the program, it isn't going to happen now.
