What record do we have in 2008 if Perrilloux is the starter?

Looking back at the 08 and 09 season, if we have a good to great QB we could have made some noise. I think we go 11-1 with only a loss to UF if Perrilloux is the guy.

In 09 I think we are 11-1 with a loss to Bama or even 12-0.

Would have been a lot better, but that was the worst defense since pre Saban.

I'm still enjoying the National Championship high, so I don't even want to think about that shite stain of a season.

I could See 11-1 with a loss to Florida or maybe undefeated.

That defense wasn’t THAT bad, but Lee was throwing picks like crazy and a lot were returned.

He is probably still the biggest what if in LSU history player wise. He was so fricking talented.

Probably a 2-loss team. Would’ve won the West. The defense was bad but without all those INTs we might have beaten UGA and would’ve beat Bama. Were never going to beat Florida.

We weren’t beating Florida in 2008 even with Perilloux. Our defense was shite at that time in the season.

I think Les got PTSD from all the pick 6's that year and changed his coaching style after that. So the biggest impact might have been in later seasons.

I think we lose to Florida and UGA that year no matter what. I also think we possibly still lose to Ole Miss, but possible we pull that one out. Definitely think we pick up W's against Alabama (4 freaking interceptions in that game and less than 40% completion) and Arkansas that year with better QB play.

Probably lose to Florida 2x... I think we beat Bama and UGA. Florida had the better team in 2008. IMO

Let's play a game of "Pipe-Dream trickle down effect"

- LSU ends up with only one loss to Florida
- LSU (potentially) gets a bid for a national championship rematch with Florida over Oklahoma.
- Following an all-SEC championship, the playoff format is pushed years earlier.
- 2011 - who knows what happens here - LSU VS OU, AL VS SU

We would have beaten Bama and Arkansas that year if Perrilloux is our starting QB, probably Ole Miss too. Don’t think we would have beaten Florida that year and the Georgia game would have probably been more competitive had we had a better QB

I'm going 11-1, loss to Florida.

Perrilloux would not just NOT throw the pick 6's Lee did, he'd be making additional plays too.

We either would have knocked UF out after beating them in the SEC championship or would ave been out ourselves after losing to them in the SEC. I don't see the BCS keeping out 1 loss Big 12 Champ OU in either scenario.
