can’t remember us having a quarterback performance where we threw three touchdowns within the 30 yard line.

I’m confused by this- did you mean “interceptions”?
And if so, then you’re too young to remember Jamie Howard…

Nuss is NOT a really good QB at this time so your stats are irrelevant. Thanks for playing.

He got hurt near the end of the first half when one of his linemen rolled up on his ankle. Nuss came up limping bad. I was surprised he played the next series. After that, he couldn’t plant his feet. His footwork looked noticeably all wrong, and his passes consistently sailed high resulting in multiple interceptions.

Nuss should have been benched when he was injured but tried to play through the pain. Unfortunately, he wasn’t effective as a result.

He is (and he's still early in his development as a starter). You're just unable to realize it.

There is some truth to it, but his tendency to make those throws seems unabated. This is troubling. Now, in fairness, JD5 was indecisive and making bad throws in his 4th year as a starter. Seemed unlikely he would "get it" but it appears he has. Nuss is in year one. I get that, but the impulsiveness to dump the ball has to disappear.

He got "rattled" at home vs Ole Miss. He has had multiple back-to-back wtf sequences in many games this year. Thats just how he is.

I’d say the first pick.
He really believe he can make throws that really no one can or should.

He didn’t throw that because he was rattled

it was a poor decision that he thought he could get away with

I think we can all agree that Nussmeier isn’t going to elevate this team’s competition to a level that will get us to the CFP. Just is what it is at this point.

Bottom line is Nuss is not ice cold like JB or JD. He has the talent, but he just doesn’t have the It factor. He’s not willing to put his body on the line for the teams success.

Been beating the drum about him rolling to his left very early on in the season. Bad things happen almost every time.

We all could see he was getting away with boneheaded decisions. We trusted the coaches would work it out of him. At this point we have to accept that this is who he is.

But a few things don’t help.

1. Starts with the offensive line. Every time he stepped up into the pocket it was like he was in a phone booth and he wound up on his arse a lot after throwing the ball. That doesn’t phase a person like JB or JD but Nuss is neither. He doesn’t like to be hit. That’s why I’m assuming we didn’t attack the middle of the field more when we saw success there.

2. WR drops. They failed him the first half with all the drops. Congratulations, you just gave him one less read to consider and made the game that much harder. I’m not saying it’s justified it’s just who he is.

3. Play calling. We have no run game. We run a zone read scheme and he is no threat. Why have we not adapted to the personnel we have. He has missed on countless reads spanning from game 1 against USC to game 7 when he failed to pull and hit green in the end zone on the RPO. Point being why has Sloan not adapted to what we have instead of trying to force something that doesn’t work. We had an open date to be able to do this analysis. But the theme of this coaching staff as a whole is that they will continuously force things that don’t work and refuse to adapt.

Really honestly the coaching staff got rattled with the new A&M QB

This. This. This.

This is what people don't understand and why I'm losing faith that BK can restore LSU to dominance.

The run game for the OL is terrible. Everyone of the OL should be beat with a rubber hose for their run game performance. It's really bad.
