If left up to the receivers, which qb would they choose?

People talk about chemistry with the receivers being important.
Don’t get me wrong it is, with that said…. supporting and playing hard for who the coaches pick is more important.
The old regime would ask this question, doubt BK will.

I think Nuss. He has charisma and I always felt like they never gravitated to Brennan. I remember when he threw the fake spike TD to Boutte and tried to dance with everyone and they mostly ignored him.
FWIW, a lot of guys are working out with Daniels right now.

It was the Spring Game in 2021 and he was competing against Johnson. It was towards the end of the first half (I think) and Brennan faked a spike and threw a TD to Boutte who was cover by McGlothern. Then Brennan came up to do that dance with everyone and they completely ignored him.

If the offensive line is not whooped like the last few years and can offer a little protection. Brennan. We saw what he can do.

He'll take care of the ball and get it to the receivers.

Remember when some players in the locker room wanted Justin McMillian named starter in camp and there were guys who were pissed off for him that the staff brought in another QB in the offseason?

You pay coaches millions to professionally and objectively evaluate the competition before naming a starter.

Brennan has put Boutte in the spotlight early in his career! Boutte has to want Brennan after what the 2 did to start 2020 season.

Myles Brennan is still 2/10 of a second slow with his release… If that’s worth anything…

Daniels seems like the receivers last choice as he’s a clear mobile threat.

As a fan, I’m looking forward to seeing Daniels mobility although I think it’ll be at the expense of passing efficiency.

Slower than Who?
He is faster and more under control than Johnson and Daniels.

According to what Kayshon Boutte said in June on the Tiger Rag Podcast, LSU should name Garrett Nussmeier the starter because he will lead LSU to the most wins and to another championship if lucky. He also said he likes everything about Nuss because he does every thing the best.

Receivers are ALWAYS open.

The QB who recognizes this phenomenon is their fav more often than not.
