exactly, there might be fewer mistakes when you put the fear of god in someone.. def down to see some arse chewings... damn good reason for a new coach... Miles wont do it..

Fire Peveto immediately and replace him with a rock. Special Teams would drastically improve.

-Actually manage the clock with less than 3 minutes to play.
-Understand that "opening up the offense" doesn't mean running 3 trick plays in one half.

the miss state game should have converted a lot of people. if he keeps doing what he did saturday he will save his job and recapture a lot of the fans.

after we beat the crap out of auburn on saturday people will start jumping back on.

This.

We need more of a killer instinct, take no prisoners kind of play. As much as I dislike Petrino when he had FSU on the ropes. He kept trying to win and did not play not to lose.

But I just don't understand the hate since it is so obvious that our play calling has changed so drastically in the last five or six quarters.

most knowledgeable fans, cfb experts, etc have been saying we need to make changes for years. He has waited too long to make these changes and the jury is still out on how "open" we will be going forward.

5. Need to rotate all of the talented WR, just rotate them like Orgeron rotates DL

Dubai, DL is rotated because it is the most tiring position on the field. Each position group is different. Notice pro teams hardly ever sub for offensive linemen, but they all rotate defensive linemen if they can.

Wide receivers do NOT need to be rotated. You put your best ones in and leave them in.

He fixed the QB situation so far, so I would like him to fix the BDP situation and hire a real special teams coordinator.

Special teams was once a huge strength of the team and now it is mediocre at best. While the punting game was improved this week, special teams still suffer in other areas. PAT's and kick offs are a particular area of concern.

This is a silly question. There isn't simply ONE thing that will magically make people forgive and forget all of Miles' transgressions. To rehash all of them yet again is a waste of time.

Les Miles has proven again and again to be a maddening amalgamation of contradiction, stubbornness and willful pride that far too frequently hinders our team's ability to live up to its potential. His spiteful lack of transparency, consistency and accountability has reached critical mass, and rightfully so.

Miles has created this situation all by himself, and winning a few more games this year with Etling instead of Harris will not change anything for me, personally. There is little evidence to suggest that Miles has experienced any sort of genuine self-realization as a coach, yet years of evidence to suggest he will resist change to a fault.

I like the man as an individual, I enjoy his personality and humor, and I really appreciate that he actually seems invested in making our players better human beings while they are student athletes at LSU. But as a football coach, I'm done. I've been done since 1/9/12. I'll never forgive him for that, and there's nothing he can do to erase that embarrassment. (Well, he could have changed his coaching philosophy after that pivotal moment in LSU's history, but we all know how that turned out).

So, to answer your question, unless Miles can build a time machine and return to the Superdome and try SOMETHING that would have given us a fighting chance in front of the entire country, then there's nothing he can do. Everything since then has just been shorter clips from the full-length horror movie.

Again, this is just my personal opinion, and you're free to disagree.

1. Quit being cute on special teams and costing us field position. Sure the corner kickoff when executed can ping someone inside the 20. But when kicked out of bounds, we are at the 35.

I want to point out that the corner kick was a net positive last week even with the out of bounds kick.

The ball would be placed on the 25 if we get a touchback. We kicked off 5 times. One was a touchback, one was out of bounds and placed on the 35, three were well executed high kicks in the corner. They were returned to the 19, 19 and 18.

State's average field position was the 23.2. This is better than if we had kicked it into the end zone every time.

So, the strategy worked Saturday. If we can eliminate the once per game kick out of bounds it would work even better.

Step down as head coach. It's time for a change. We need someone that's willing to change when the defense it's giving you something. Also someone who doesn't take his foot off the gas.

Changed qbs, never took foot off gas. Throwing ball in 4th quarter in both the last two games.

Literally everything you said, he did.

This has been a witch hunt since September of 05.

That's what LSU did when Jamie Howard and the Tigers gave up the big lead to Auburn. There are two sides to that coin.

I don't like going into a shell and becoming predictable. That's what cost Jim Mora imo. Miles has been guilty of this, but not on Saturday.

Two weeks ago I would have said pass at least 45% of the time. We did that against State, so now I would say, just keep doing it.
