I don’t understand how anyone reads or listens to anything from GG and Moscona

I've been slowly but surely cutting back on my listening to Moscona over the last few months. After Monday's show, I think I'm finally done with that douche. I didn't listen to one minute of his show today, and it's amazing how much more relaxed I feel.

It also took me until this year to realize that he has zero substance. It’s just go against the grain to get a reaction out of people. I’m to the point where I want to listen to shows that give me actual substance on the game. Therefore, the three H’s are my go tos: Hanny, Hester and Hunt.

They just want to keep their jobs. I wouldn’t listen to anyone employed by the SEC to tell you how they really feel.

I don’t mind the guys saying that- they could see where the refs were coming from but they disagreed with it but douchebag Matt Mascona lost a listener in me. He openly mocks the fan base. frick that dude.

Yes, they are FAR superior to Mascona. And Hester/Flynn are SO much more relaxing to listen to, and I find them more substantive as well. Too bad they won't cut back Mascona's three hours to benefit some of those other guys.

The old targeting displayed by 1980's Miami teams should be illegal. But modern targeting rules are far, far overkill. It's a sign of the times where political correctness creates overkill in sports rules and even criminal laws. IMO, it hurts the sport. The sportswriters who like the new rules are the guys who never played a sport but instead were on their school newspapers and either didn't go to their high school proms or went solo and sat the whole time wishing they had the nerve to ask a girl to dance with him.

But therein lies one of the inherent flaws with the rule. It rarely can be applied to the “letter of the law”. This is not always a black and white ruling. There’s a huge amount of subjectivity involved. How can a bystander like an official assign intent to a certain play/player? How many different opinions of “forcible contact” are we looking at each week with all of the games played? I know officials have basic guidelines and they have certain triggers they are looking for, but it leaves waaaaaay too much individual interpretation.
