Two concerns:
1. Their running game
2. Our running game
I see them putting up 200 yards on the ground, while we get maybe 60.

Both lines....and our kicking game ain't nothing to write home about.

(2) My second concern is that the coaches might adopt a conservative, ineffectual offensive game plan. We are not truly a running team, despite our coaches' insistence that we need to be. Against Auburn, our marquee victory, we were most effective spreading the field and passing the ball down field. I'm afraid we'll abandon that identity against Alabama in favor of a predictable power running game. In my humble opinion, it will be difficult to consistently move the chains with run plays against the stout Alabama defensive line. Instead, we have to effectively exploit their corners with our potent WR corps. Perhaps I'm wrong;

I think starting field position for LSU will be key. If we are inside our 20, we go into to shell, run, and go 3 and out. If we start past the 30, I think we will be more aggressive with our play calling.
The thing is LSU has more explosive ability on offense than Bama. We win if we get a lead early and force their QB to make plays. If we play safe on offense and run, we will play into their strength. JMO

What is your greatest concern about the Alabama game?
Our D line getting no pressure and not stopping Ingram. McElroy pulling a great game out of his arse when he has been actually getting progressively worse. Our team playing tight and not to lose, similar to the FLA game.

What are your concerns (if any)?
As long as our field goal kicker is at least half way decent inside 45yards, LSU will be in this game. I think LSU and Bama will trade a few due to both teams' Defenses.

A repeat of the Florida game offensively.
I'm afraid for T-Bob too.

Its pretty simple. If we score more points than them, we will win!!!

I think you can be sure that y'all will start your drives outside your own 20. Have you seen our coverage unit? We pretty much guarantee a team will get 15-25 yards on a freaking return.

Who ever wins the special teams battle will win. Just like we did against Georgia.

Just playing tough and agressive. The Tigers played Florida tough but not agressively. Play with that toughness and be aggressive in play-calling on both sides of the ball and this game could be a toss-up. Sure don't see 'Bama by 10 the way the lines opened today.

Playing in T-Town with the home refs. Alabama will be holding our Defensive Rush all game without one call while we will have at least 3 holding penalties against us. Peterson may get the phantom PI call on Miss Julio as well. The home vs visitor call ratio in T-town is scary.
My other fear is that CODY mistakes SHEP for a turkey neck and eats him after a tackle.

I think it will be all about field position. Thus, my biggest concern is our punting game. Helton, it seems gets gametime nerves. Reports have it that he hits nothing but bombs in practice. Jasper doesn't have the big leg but is more consistent and has shown to be very good at pooch punting. We will have to force Bama to drive 70+ yards for scores. I think this game will be decided by either defensive scores or by points scored from a short field caused by turnovers. I think if we can keep Bama's defense off the scoreboard, we can win.
