dye off the leather from the football

Dye rubs off brand new footballs. Most teams scrub their balls (ha) with a brush to alleviate the problem.

They are playing with new balls and the stain on the balls is rubbing off.

Does Goodell know about this ?

While I admit that I'm no Columbo, the pictures show the players carrying some object somewhat similar in color to the stains on their jerseys.

LSU Equipment doesn't scrub their footballs because Brandon Harris likes it with the wax/dye still on it. So when the running backs get hit with the ball against their chest, the dye rubs off.
Most teams scrub it off though.

It's makeup. A bit of rouge and lipstick for the cameras.

some of those pics are from the home Auburn game, nimrod. And by the way, most astro-turf fields don't have end zone paint that bleeds, like natural grass paint does.
Doubt seriously that new footballs bleed that much, if at all.
Those stains are bright red -- it's Gatorade.
