Come on.

Character matters.

Most important with the head coach and team leaders like a QB.

Les is showing NO character in handling Lee the way he has.

There's no way you believe anything different.

I just read a couple of pages of this thread and I can't tell if anyone is serious or not. That being said, who gives a shite that he put him in to take a knee? IMO, its better than him not playing at all.

Feel bad for the guy but that's all. We're undefeated.

Can only hope he doesn't feel as upset as some ranters are.

Hate to see players that contribute so much to a great season feel disrespected but he made his choice. Would much prefer to at least see him smiling on the sideline again, being a team player.

Listen...here is what we do know, regardless of how "mad" Les is, this is too illogical with the information we have...

Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that there is much more to this story than we know about....Lee fricked up and it was the interceptions....there is more to this story and will probably never know....

I've often thought, if I was a benchwarmer at LSU, I'd be a dedicated diary writer...then I would spend a year or so putting together a great tell all book after that coaching staff had moved on.... It would sell a lot of copies...

Lol this is actually a great idea!

All the fans on here keep asking questions that never get answered. His football future is likely shot by now, would be a great alternative selling a book with his point of view at least.

I cringed when I saw what Miles did. Lee should have gone in on the series prior, or late in the 2nd half when we hadn't had a 1st down. I don't care what Lee did, that was a public humiliation, and Les Miles did not look good there. Lee saved this team in the Oregon game and later; he made possible where we are. He deserved better if only for that. Maybe Miles wasn't thinking, but that would be the charitable way to look at it. I'm inclined to think it was an intentional humiliation on Miles part. I'm like an earlier poster; Lee should have taken a knee and then thrown the ball at Miles.

JJ played the whole game. It is his game. Let him kneel the ball. It was a huge slap in the face. Put some senior in who has never seen the field to cover his back and let JJ take the knee.

How well should he treat the back-up?

He is one player.
One.

The game doesn't need to be altered because of one player's feelings.
The moment LSU loses I might see your point.
Why not stick with what works?

Lee worked very well until 2 picks back-to-back (I know, the outcome can't be predicted from that fact).
The game had to change; the exceedingly successful coach made that decision.
Les just forgot to consult the rant first, that's all.

Honestly, I tend not to get involved when pussies post JL or JJ but without even reading this one, it was not whether it was the wrong decision but a horrible and recruit altering decision. I love both kids but help us and take the final snap. Bad. Very bad. But at least UGA bitches got the mercy knee too! UGA fans tell your green defensive players to buy duct tape and STFU when grown folks is talking!

In other words, it's ok to shite on some of these kids as long as we win. But don't treat 'em shitty and lose 'cause that's classless.

I disagree.

I too think that there is more to this story than we will ever know.

I'm glad we're in the position we are in, but seriously, JL could have been treated much better than this.

Lee would never have even had the opportunity to go an entire half without a first down. He'd have been benched after 3 possessions, maybe even just 2.

Sorry if anyone doesn't like my opinion.
