He’s not as all-world and unbelievable as all the LSU fans thought he was when he was in college. LSU has had other linebackers who have been just as good or better.

LSU hasn't had a linebacker as good as Devin White was in college since Bradie James.

You could argue Beckwith, but that's about it.

LSU has had some great off ball LB in the last 20 years

Phillips, Queen, Duke, Deebo, Kwon, Baker, Highsmith, Sheppard, Trev Faulk.

None of them were as good as White was in college. They may have been better at quarterbacking a defense and filling a run fit, which translates more to the NFL, but let's not revisionist history this because of his play style in the NFL. Devin White was a 2x all American, 2x first team all SEC, and Butkus winner.

Kendall Beckwith and Kevin Minter were close to White if not just as good.

Kelvin Sheppard was pretty good in 2010 as well.

His career earnings are 45 million by the way, you missed it by a factor of 9.

Made the all rookie team. Then a pro bowl. He was good in the beginning of his NFL career.

Yeah, he was awesome his first few years. He was massive and was a tackling machine in Tampa's Super Bowl run. He was arguably the MVP of the Super Bowl and sealed the win with an interception.

It's has been a strange descent for him. I know he didn't see eye to eye with the new TB staff, but now he is with another team and seemingly having issues there too.

Making $40m... maybe he's not as motivated. He should have FU money at this point.

People said Bradie James was a bust with Dallas as well. He only lead them in tackles 6 straight seasons.

Reminds me of Jaylan(?)Smith who played for the Cowboys then was last with the Saints. Came on the scene very strong then all of a sudden just disappeared. Smith and White to me both played out of control with no discipline.

He's also getting old, five years into your career at LB or RB you better not have any holes in your game or else someone is right behind you to take your spot.

Baun had a fantastic week 1 stat line. Bijan showed him what was up tonight.

Gotta think White could've chased him down a bit better.

He was never as good as the Rant thought he was. Athletically he was off the charts, and he was a decent at playing the position. The combination made him a highly effective college player and a fairly good NFL player.

But the balance of the Rant thought he was a best in the NFL talent. He was a guy who had everything except an instinctive feel for the position,

Met father while lost in Dallas ; saw my tags and heard me ask for directions inside store , so he said just follow me up the road a couple miles. Very very nice man. Devin is also a class act see where he gets it.

Jacob Phillips cleaned up for Devin White.

Look at how White was used in Aranda’s scheme and you’ll understand. Philips never got credit for being the better linebacker of the two. White is just a ridiculous athlete.

In my honest opinion, I believe some people take plays off or get lazy after they get paid. Few examples come to mind such as Jimbo, Ed O, Michael Thomas, I’m sure there’s more.

Something does seem different about Burrow. Might partially be the stupid hair he has.

Came in to the league focused and ready to learn and succeed. Along the way he got his head screwed up and forgot his roots. Happens all the time.
