In a similar vein, (i) who does the version of "Louisiana Saturday Night" that they play before games is it Nitty Gritty, Dave Mathews, Alabama, or is it the original Mel McDaniel??), and (ii) what is the song they play that has "Baton Rouge" as part of the opening lyric?

"Louisiana Saturday Night" is by Alabama or Nitty Gritty, def not Dave Matthews. And if you're talking about "Callin' Baton Rouge" it's by Garth Brooks

I don't remember it at all either. I usually get in the stadium about a half hour before kickoff, right around Calling Baton Rouge starts.
