Tigerdave, UT has a max of 5,000 tickets it’s able to give for home games to visiting fans. It’s a big 12 rule, not a UT rule.

TAF sent out an email a little while back pretty much telling members “Hey, sorry, check StubHub”.... which pretty much translates to... “yeah, we enjoy your money, but sorry Charlie, you’ve got to pay above face value with a nice fee racked on...”

Trust me, I’ve got a company with my bigger customers being UT alums... I may spend more money on tickets for one game than I will for my season club tickets.

It pisses me off that LSU sold its fans out to StubHub. Does it really cost that much to have a resale section on the LSUsports website?

Vivid seats is the way to go. Usually a little cheaper and fees aren't quite as bad. Plus if you create an account and get all the way to the checkout a couple times without buying they'll almost always email you a 10% off promo within a few days.

LSU sent a letter out earlier advising people to use StubHub or another 3rd party due to limited number that LSU will be aloucated

Have the prices gone up in the last few months? Seems like they've come down after spiking right after the bowl game, IDK.

Anything less than $400 will be shite tickets . And there’s a lot of those for sale.

“An,” and you failed to add the proper punctuation for a question.
