This is more denbrock's offense
Did you watch his Cincy teams? They didn’t look anything like this other than in terms of the formations we use. It’s not the same offense. It’s some stripped down version they evidently think Daniels and the OL can handle.
I think Denbrock could do a lot better job of adjusting to what he has, but this doesn’t look like the system he wants to run based on what I’ve seen before, and I watched a fair amount of Cincy games with Ridder at QB.

Unless CBK losses the ego this will be our offense no matter who he hires.
More than the score yesterday this is what is concerning to me. Same as Jimbo with the Aggies.

Daniels doesn't trust his arm on deep routes, which had led to our WRs frustration. I'm more concerned long term, what has Nuss and Howard learned? One or both will be having to play next season. It would shock me a bit to see Daniels back next season.

Seeing no improvemen
Thats not accurate at all. He's still not pushing the ball deep and can't read a blitz to save a sack. But he was clearly even more accurate and threw with more anticipation of the route and with more confidence. It's improvement. Not enough, but it clearly was.

Brandon Harris went to elite QB clinics in the offseason to improve and never did. He transferred to UNC where Fedora was supposed to be a QB whisperer and he got even worse.
Some QBs have physical talent, but struggle with quick processing under duress. It has nothing to do with intelligence. It's just the speed with which the eyes and brain can process and make decisions. Not everyone has it.

Daniels just doesn’t have it, and I’m normally a “never say never” guy.
According to Kelly, Daniels is the most accomplished player on the team. Kudos to Denbrock and Sloan.
