There were bigger wins, but that upset of UT in 2000 was big. Senior in high school and got to rush the field. You could just sense that we were not going to be the same old sorry arse Tigers much longer.

03 national champ game.
Was lucky enough to sit just under the rafters with the old man. I was 12 years old. That whole day was surreal. We got there around 10am and just tailgated all day. When they won, my dad cried. He still says to this day he thought for a while before the Saban era he would never see a natty in his lifetime.
2nd would be the postseason baseball series where we beat ULL by 10 2 games in a row. I was just starting to get really competitive and knowledgeable in baseball. We watched the ULL starter warm up I'm the pen. I turned to my dad and said that his fast ball wasn't moving and he was missing his spots with offspeed so he was going to get shelled. I was right.
Also '09 championship series. Had some former summer ball teammates on the field.

03 National Championship game. We walked from the Superdome to the French Quarter and celebrated until 3:00 a.m. We did the same thing in 07. That night I was standing right under the Royal Sonnesta's balcony when Les Miles came out holding the crystal trophy. Merry Christmas everyone.

It was nit 1980 when LSU beat Kentucky when all 5 starters fouled out. It was1978. Lsu won 95-94. They did, however beat Kentucky, 80-78 to win the SEC Tournament in 1980.

I'm with you on this one. It signaled our emergence on the national scene in football. We had not achieved such a height in my lifetime and we all sensed how big it was sitting in the Georgia Dome that night. It was a great celebration.

I remember having dinner at Steak and Ale in downtown Atlanta after the 2007 SECCG. It was packed with LSU fans and there was a lady listening to the WVU/Pitt game on her radio. She was shouting out updates and when WVU lost everybody cheered. I still didn't know we were in the BCS title game until the next day when I was at the Atlanta airport getting ready to fly home and ESPN reported it. That was a great weekend!

happiest was after 2004 sugar bowl
2011 Alabama 9-6 I would describe the feeling as "intense relief" not so much euphoria

1997 Florida, 2001 Auburn revenge game, 2001 SEC championship, 2003 UGA, 2003 national championship, 2007 4th down and Hester, 2007 national championship, 9-6, and lastly a very underrated game that was profoundly memorable to me was beating Ole Miss 2 years ago when they rolled into Baton Rouge at #3.

1985 LSU vs Fla ... first game as a freshman. Date tells me at halftime that we should go to her place after the game and green lights me. Excitement level is high after the game even though we loss. Make out in my car (borrowed Dad's car for the big date) while traffic clears. It's then I realize she may have drank too much at game. She proceeds to projectile vomit over the dash, seat, and door.
Excitement over.
Excitement over.

You forgot Charlie Mc 0 Les Miles 1
THat would be National Championship Trophies,
I loved me some Charlie Mc But he squandered a lot of good team by not being able to beat the gumps. In the early sixties when he took over, Coach Paul left him a boat load of talent!

In Person 2003 NC in Superdome and 2007 4th and Hester in Tiger Stadium, maybe the loudest game i ever attended.
I too often dwell on the disappointments more than the victories, as my motto is Victory is never so sweet as defeat is bitter. Unfortunately any loss to the gumps is very hard
