What if I told you the first shutout of the cws was done by LSU

And it didn’t involve Skenes Hurd Floyd or Guidry. Who would’ve taken those odds?

I would have told you to put down the crack pipe

Never thought our pitching would save our season tonight

We led the nation in pitching shutouts this season

Well, those guys were involved in most of them

Kyle Peterson and Karl Ravich fellating ut pitching depth and questioning LSUs pitching in the pregame. But who showed up and showed out tonight?!

I want to reverse jinx the Tigers and their lack of pitching depth that gives them no chance to get past regionals, and come out of any loser brackets

Peterson was still pumping them up when LSU was up 2-0 late in the game saying they had a better shot at beating WF because of their pitching depth. Then they trotted out about 5 more pitchers only to lose 5-0. But next year, WATCH OUT!!!

No way I would'f taken those odds. I mean, seriously this is a Tiger team only a month away from blowing a 13-4 lead to MISS ST!
Where did all this power pitching come from? Before the regular season ended, everyone was just badmouthing the bullpen

Excellent post!
A & C were awesome and surprised us all. I thought Millazo caught them well, framing pitches, pumping them up coming off the field, and great defense.
Thanks for the simple breakdown with the only shutout. Puts it in perspective

We have only used up 6 pitchers in 3 games. I don't count Guidry because he only threw 2 pitches and is still available. This team has stepped up on that side. The bats need to pick up the slack especially Tommy Tanks.

6 runs allowed in 27 innings by LSU.
4 runs allowed in 19 1/3 innings by pitchers not named Paul Skenes.
Those stats speak for themselves. Pitching staff has been just incredible. Offense owes them a double digit run game at the plate the next two days.
