The Marxist president will make the hire….you figure it out from there….he will be carrying two shots and a booster when he gets here….

These are the almost no shot guys you give a call because you gotta shoot your shot right?

Lincoln Riley
Dabo Swinney
Urban Meyer
Chris Peterson (stepped down at Washington)

These are the high risk guys. They are questionable hires for one reason or another

Lane Kiffin
Hugh Freeze

These are the up and comers/hottest young HC names

Luke Fickell
Mario Cristobal
Matt Campbell
Bill Napier

Now right now I'd take any of the first 7 people. I wouldn't be made if we took either of them if we could. I'd also like to throw out KC's offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. I would throw out Joe Brady too, but I think he's all NFL.

If Coach O goes less than 6-6 I think he is gone. Who would you hire as the next LSU head coach that would take the job?

My List of Reasonable Coaches to offer:
1. Luke Fickell
2. Matt Campbell
3. PJ Fleck
4. Pat Fitzgerald
5. Billy Napier

Would be much better if 90% of you on this board would resign as "fans". 90% of you have no idea what you see when you watch foitball.

Matt Campbell got blown out by fvcking ULaLa at home and his 1st round QB has only regressed under him. He's the most overrated coach in the country.

The USL loss wasn’t a blow out. It also wasn’t pretty and that was on the road to a Big 12 regular season championship, school record wins, and damn near winning the Big XII title game. Oh and they blew out Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl.

Purdy hasn't regressed he had a bad game mostly due tot hose around him missing their assignments. Watch for Purdy to still be a first rounder and for ISU to have a damn good run the rest of the season. The Iowa game may be their only loss of the season.

To be fair, Mulkey was hired in April & JJ in June. President started in July.

If woodward has a favorite guy, he won't be able to tell him no but im sure he will have some input.

LSU + Lane Kiffin would be plain dangerous. And I mean that in a good way.

WHY???

If that guy isn't going to USC, you don't want to see Walker Howard in a Pat Mahomes offense?

Eric Bieniemy will be a top target

Keeping it real, most of the names discussed aren't realistic options right now (Meyer, Kiffin) or don't seem a good fit for SEC (Fleck, Campbell).

If I were gaming this out I'd be thinking about these 3

Billy Napier seems a pretty logical guy. Younger. Highly respected. Ace recruiter. Already in Louisiana. Seems like a great college FB kind of guy.

Bob Stoops. Proven commodity at high powered program. Well liked by everyone. Good recruiter. ? ready to get back in the grind though of 24/7 college FB

Bill O'brien Proven guy at both major college program and NFL. Highly respected X&O guy. Not the most charismatic guy and may be more inclined to go back to NFL.
