In this gif of gage getting hit in the face with the ball, how long were the officials going to let #13 grab and hold Dillon? Way past the 5 yard mark. My problem is not that we commit penalties. My problem is that penalties are committed on just about every play and it's just how much are the officials focusing on one team?

Did you not see the Auburn and Florida games last year? Let an exceptional drive each time to get us in position--even made the play at Auburn.

Do you think any defensive coordinators believe they have to scheme to stop him?

Do you think they schemed to stop Matt Mauck or Matt Flynn? We had to scheme to stop last year's Heisman winner and we shut that offense down.

Silly argument is silly.

You don't know much about football do you?

Get some help from our freshmen O-linemen and receivers not dropping good passes, and we'll get things clicking. But it's interesting for the QB to not be the problem for the first time in a long time!

OP-----I see you missed most of last Saturday's game

Your case is weak, Especially when he throws a pass and hits the receiver in the HEAD WITH THE BALL. CLUELESS!!

There were quite a few bad throws last week

Operating from under center makes the QB turn his back to the receivers and Etling along with most college QB's take more time to find targets and make the throw

Most people on the board confuse the spread offense and pro style. You can run a pro style offense with the QB in the shotgun formation and have a run/pass ratio to suite the game. The shotgun formation allows the QB to see the play develop and also get the ball off quicker beating the pressure.

With our offensive line we will fight all year pressure defenses and now every coach we face will use the Miss St as a blueprint. Nick is licking his chops

Etling is a "gamer." He works hard and plays hard. Only gripe I have from Sat. game is he NEVER once tried to keep the defense honest w a run. At least show the opposition you are willing to run. Other than that he did what he could. He had some really nice throws and probably should have had double the passing yardage he was credited with. He was not the issue last Sat. night. That is a a ray of purple sunshine.....
