We have have a shite ton of posters on here who literally believed E was the answer. That all he needed was the playbook from Brady... and he could run an offense like 2019s.

Yea trying to build your offense like the GREATEST OFFENSE IN THE HISTORY OF THE SPORT is just so dumb. Why O whyyyyyyyyyyyy????

You don’t think other teams in the country are trying to do the same thing? LSU just actually has the blueprint from people inside the building that were there.

I feel like a lot of what People don’t like about O is just the fact he says what is on his mind and doesn’t have a filter. They actually like coach speak even tho they say they hate it.

k, thanks!

In every press conference he is worried about what people think. He has people read this board to see what the mood is. He tries to appeal to people and say what you want to hear. Maybe that’s his way of learning from past mistakes. Maybe it’s weakness.

2019 can’t be duplicated without upgrading every position on the offense. He needs to do as he preaches and not look back.

Who is the TE that went in the first round? Or do you not know what "literally" means?

You fricking haters. CEO said as soon as he took the job he wanted more of a spread vertical attacking offense. He’s wanted this offense for years, not just since Brady. Brady and Joe did it the best but it’s always been the type of offense CEO wanted.

2019 results can’t be duplicated but the 2019 system can and I don’t think he just means scheme. I think he means everything from the way they handled recruiting to meetings to coaching on the field then to games. All that was different in 2020 and he wants it to be similar to 2019 moving forward.

yes 19' was the perfect storm but i also find it strange how often he keeps talking about Brady's offense. Never have i heard a head coach talk about wanting to replicate a former coaches playbook so often. I think we need to let peetz create is own offense(which may resemble parts of Bradys)instead of trying to duplicate 19.

We should have hired Tom Herman, and had we had a real coaching search, we may have lucked out and gotten Larry Fedora.

O does speak out of both sides of his mouth at times and has really screwed up on some hires. What coach doesn't and hasn't?

Our QB's have never been this talented, our D-Line may be the best ever, our corners may be the best in the nation, all thanks to O.

Pros: O is not miserable like Les Miles and he has coached the best season ever at LSU because he was smart enough to recruit Joe B. Not bad for an idiot shrimp boat captain who speaks like Cookie Monster, huh?

Cons: O will never be as good as Nick Saban, but I'm sure there's tons of other coaches we could have gotten that will be the next Saban, right?

Hate to break it to ya, but the person behind center was more responsible for 2019 success than Brady was. Take burrow off that team and see what happens, Burrow was unstoppable. Doesn’t matter how good you can call and draw up plays if you don’t have QB. Think about how many times shite hit the fan on the pocket and Burrow made magic out of nothing...

I understand what you're saying. Get the system in, and get after it. Let Peetz be his own coordinator, and personnel always dictates small differences in scheme.

I kinda agree. It’s one thing to feel like that’s what you want, but I don’t think he should keep saying it. Like stop making all of your success sound like it’s prided on that one thing (yes we know that’s what it was). He’s just too transparent with his thoughts sometimes.
