Ole Miss was way ahead of us in organizing their collective, it can’t be argued…hence why we hired people away from theirs to get out own better organized

LSU stumbled out of the gate with NIL and has been playing catch up since

I love how the whole year it’s been “LSU can’t afford to buy out BK” and now it’s “LSU can buyout BK AND afford to go after other coaches that will be just as, if not more, expensive.”

Lanning would laugh at our call and probably just use it to get more money out of Phil

Lea is pretty unproven but I’m ok with that. He’d probably jump over on a deal that’s not too bad for us to swallow after this debacle

I don’t think LSU could stomach the buy out if BK simply missed the playoffs after a 2-3 loss season.

Things are now trending in the “can LSU afford not to buy him out ?”

Last night was such a bad look on a national stage

Why does everyone just gloss over this with Kiffin?

Kiffen not coming here… I think he stays at Ole Miss… this ain’t 10 years ago… coaches realize now almost any coaching moves between P4 jobs now is a lateral move with NIL and the transfer portal …

Yes they are. You have no clue what you're talking about. Ole Miss has lots of "old money" as well. Do you think it's coincidence LSU poached their NIL staff?

It’s a good one. Comes from a family of the same name.

Kiffin really would be a good fit. That’s the kind of character we need, not some stick up his arse Yankee like Kelly.

This is the problem with the fanbase and Louisiana in general

You said in your post. You want a “character”.

We don’t need a character. We need a COACH.

I don’t care if it’s a big name or someone off the radar. Just get the fricking hire right. The only fit we need is winning

LSU organized it as it was intended to do that nobody else followed. So yes, they were extremely behind because everyone else was blowing money to pay players to play which it wasn't intended to do.

We had one but it was a cluster frick

There’s really no debate they were better organized than us. This is not a hill worth dying on

Kiffen is an immature impulsive jerk. Lucky his actions didn’t cost his team a win yesterday. Going for it 4th and 1 on the OM 25 in the 3rd quarter is not a ballsy move. Just plain stupid.

Day and Lanning. You are seriously delusional. Kiffin would be a no. LSU would be better to wait till seasons end and get a younger coach who has a good offensive mind

We are literally back to where we started under Orgerom except it's costing us 2 to 3 times as much

Do you have any information that hasn’t been talked about elsewhere? Not saying you are not an insider but it seems as if most of what you’ve said is already out there.

Kiffin is the name that keeps coming up and is the obvious fit.

Who in the hell would actually believe this? He’s built up a good team at OM. How would it be different here? Why would he leave OM and come to LSU?

Honestly, some of the shite you people spew here is laughable. And the people who believe it…equally so.

Every year they make staff changes. It’s just putting a Band aid on it. If they fix the offense next year then the defense or special teams will be terrible. The problem is at the top.

I don't think Kiffin is realistically an option for LSU either because I don't think he'd leave unless it was an absolute absurd can't say no deal. Which is why we're in the situation we're in now.
