bowl game...should have gone for the TD and if we got stuffed ND would have been inside 1 or 2 yd line. That was a terrible decision

It should be. I don't think it's irrational to say that the defense may win a game or two that LSU shouldn't win. But, I also don't think it's irrational that LSU will lose a game or two because of Coach O. But, I hope that's not the case and I end up looking like a dumbshit for saying it publicly.

I agree with that 100% simply because the ND offense had just gone right down the field with zero resistance. I'd rather them be inside the 1 and have to play conservative if you don't make it.

How is that relevant? We paid for 10 million to fire Les and replaced him with a worse coach.

This is in fact....a fact!!

I wanted Les gone more than anyone but not for the assclown we ended up with.

He could have gotten out of the way so we could get a real head coach.

I didn't like the O hire either and I'm not convinced he will be successful, but do you think our record would be better in 2018 with Jimbo? CEO has done a decent job to this point. And no, I'm not suggesting we settle for mediocrity just that we give the man a chance to prove himself.

He could implement an offense. From what I've seen I can't say he's done that.

There is nothing I would would rather do in my retirement than live in BR and be a Tiger fan.

I also get to see my grands grow up and live with a wonderful woman that I love.

You guys need to take a chill pill and get over the FACT that CEO is our Head Football coach and enjoy the coming football season.

Just get ready to kick some Cane asse !!!!

Wrong again dipshit. I said I wouldn’t mind if it was O if he kept his promises and brought in a big time OC. He immediately lied and promoted the TE coach.

I truly believe he will try to be more of a ceo and allow the assistants to coach...but that is just what i hope

I could look like a dumbshit for trying to be positive and saying O is a different coach than he was at Ole Piss and has more tools to succeed

You asked what should he do that he hasn't done to get us ready for 2019. Well?

Exactly Cam. Hire an established OC that shares your vision for the program, let him and Aranda run their side of the ball and O can concentrate on roster management and in game coaching which he hasn't been terrible overall. Obviously, there have been a few blunders here and there.

Decent under what standards? Decent compared to the rest of college football? Sure. Decent compared to where we have been the last 15 years? No. In fact, when you take into account the down year across the SEC, last year was the worst season in the last 10 years.

game tied and the ball inside the 2 yard line ND definitely would have played conservatively...I still hate the call and wish he had shown some balls and gone for it

Really, it all hinges on Ensminger's offense.
The fact that Ensminger could only implement 30% of it in the spring is some cause for concern. The spring game demonstrated poor execution which could perhaps be explained by rotating three quarterbacks and having a makeshift offensive line. Regardless, it wasn't pretty.
We may have found a better option at quarterback but it still comes down to Ensminger's offense and the ability to execute and make plays. Ensminger may do just fine but it was a hell of a gamble on O's part.
