What happens to the 4 & 5 * players after they get to LSU?

Does it seem the 4 & 5 * players don't get any better and some of the 2 & 3 * develop better?
What happen to those players? Why aren't they shinning on the field?
Look at R Sherpard. He was suppose to set the football world on fire. Did he improve?
Am I missing something at LSU with these players?

Shep hasn't found a home.. He was a 5* dual threat QB..
I guess you want to take the extreme example of a dual threat QB moved to WR and RB.
What about guys like Eric Reid and Sam Montgomery? Not living up to their hype?

There has never been an LSU recruit under miles to go in first round on the offensive side of the ball. Hmmm

You're right. LSU is the ONLY team that have recruits that are busts.

So by what you answer, you really believe LSU played up to their potential the last few games with those stars? I don't. They stunk.
If LSU don't change soon, LSU could lose 3-4 games this season.

Its not just LSU it's everywhere.
Now a lot folKs rating these kids never actually see them play in a game..
They only see the highlight reel or the camp numbers not how a kid is when he gets pushed or faces equal talent
Or how they respond when their backs are against the wall

Just because Rivals says Davenport is better than Brockers and Bennie Logan doesn't make it so.
Just because rivals says that Morris Claiborne is the 58th best "athlete" in the country doesn't make it so.
Most people would applaud the coaches for doing a much better job evaluating lower ranked player than the web sites do. You are going to spin this into the coaches not developing talent the websites said was better than the guys who passed them.
