I like my quarterbacks to be accurate. They need to know how to make the proper reads of the defense and put their players in the best place to succeed. It helps to have someone who is cerebral. Cam Newton has a strong arm and he is accurate. Brady and Brees and the Mannings have great arms but they excel on the field because they make plays. Make the plays. Throw the ball with touch when needed. Put enough air under the ball to complete your long throws. You can throw a 40 yard pass as hard as you like. But short throws should have touch.

I have no idea why he gets to speak to the media.
A winning program, with losers as its fans.

Basically be a perfect QB but with the good sense to not have any obvious self confidence.
I am finding it just a little hypocritical that you , who have never played the position at an significant level (if at all), are so demanding regarding something you cant not possibly do.
The guy has self confidence, not a bad attribute for the position and the game he plays. I don't think he compared himself to the NFL Hall of Famers you mentioned. He didn't say he was the best QB in college football.
But I guess as long as he removes his hat, keeps his eyes down cast and tells the press that he isn't worth a crap, the likes of you will be satisfied.

If I could get the pass he threw that almost killed travin dural vs ole miss outa my head, I might buy in.
Dudes gonna have to prove it on the field this year in order to win over good portion of the fanbase.
The fact that LSU has had shite qb play for several years now if seems doesn't help Harris.

Best arm means ability to cover a lot of ground in a short time. Watch old john elway clips. Best arm in the history of football. Once clocked throwing a football in the 80s. Used to stand on home plate at Yankee stadium and throw baseballs over the CENTER field wall when he was bored.

You want your quarterback to have the confidence and to be cocky.
Confidence? Yes
Cocky? No.
Cockiness is actually compensation for a lack of confidence.
I've know a lot of cocky guys in my life, and to a man, it's crystal clear they feel inadequate and are overcompensating.
