Fake Punt?
Fake FG?
Hook and Ladder?
Double reverse half back pass to the kicker?

The problem is he has become so noted for them that sometimes he telegraphs when one is going to happen and it fails. I think he needs to lay off of them for the rest of the year, at least till bowl game time, and let others get comfortable so they can be setup again

The "trick plays" tried haven't worked against Bama since the 4th and 1 reverse in 2010.
Recall any others against Bama that have benefited since?

Agreed. Its something you have to be prepared for when you play LSU even though we don't do it a whole bunch anymore. Saban always has his guys ready for it. I think the closest to a trick play we'll see is a well conceived pass play on what looks like an obvious running down like the play against OM.

Flea flicker on 4th and inches at the goal line with :01 left on the clock. Dickson is open in the endzone but Jennings overthrows him. Game over, Tigers lose. Fans storm the field and throw Miles over the edge of Tiger Stadium. This leads to serious legal problems for the university and LSU football is given the death penalty. DON'T DO IT LES!

Zero pass attempts for a new record since the addition of the forward pass in college football.

Well they asked this same question against the Bears and my answer was a good defense. So Im hoping my little trick is foolproof.

When it comes to coaching college guys, we have the best in the business at least thru this yr.

Tigress, any thoughts on why none of the Louisiana High School coaches can develop a SEC QB ever for the state school and its terrific coach?

The prevailing thought amongst coaching staffs is that to beat a Saban team, you have to do it with the unexpected. You're not going to just line up toe to toe with his recruiting and coaching abilities.

We went to great lengths to set up the most crucial winning play in 2010. Remember Ford being knocked out of bounds a yard shy setting up 4th and 1, and we went for it?

Our blocking TE on Ford's run stayed on the ground and faked injury, so the insertion of Deangelo Peterson did not draw attention. Everyone remembers the next play where Ridley takes the toss then pitches to Peterson who runs down to the three.

I have it on good authority that Saban lost sleep many nights for a couple of months asking how in the Hell could a sane man do that? Lol

But we went overboard in 2012. Beat them straight up and gave it away taking the same type of risks that won it for us on that play in 2010. shite like this is just part of what makes this game so good. Remember, we fumble on the 1 going in to take the lead last year, and still have momentum in the second half, until Saban calls fake punt to break our back.

we MUST use quick passes i.,e slants and screens, or Bama will use the same formula as in the NC game.

crowd the middle and do not give time for the QB to throw deep.

Miles and CAM BETTER HAVE THAT IN THE GAME PLAN

That is a "hook and lateral" you refer to! Where does the ladder come into the play? However, you are no worse than the dumbass announcers!

Hopefully nothing if it's not needed.

He tried several 2 years ago in TS, and every one of them failed.
