What do you think has Coach O learned from last year's loss to Bama?

Having a bye week before playing Bama hasn't helped us the last 6 years and last year was no different. What do you think Coach O can differently this time around in terms of prep, scheming, film study, workouts etc. to have some sort of a chance against Bama?

Getting Guice more than 2 carries should be guaranteed.

That rantards don’t care about close losses to Bama as long as Miles isn’t the coach

Avoid the enemy where he is strong, Attack the enemy where he is weak (secondary).

Does it even matter what he learned.

Our offense is worse than it was last year, and Bamas defense is just as good if not better.

Our defense is worst than last year and Bamas offense is better.

We pose absolutely zero threat to move the ball through the air.

O could have learned exactly how to beat Bama, we just don’t have the players at the right positions to do it.

They will destroy both of our lines and Danny will be less effective than he usually is.

Make no doubt, Guide is only as good as the OL allows. That will be your pulse against the Tide.

And therein lies the problem. We don’t have the line to protect the QB and we don’t have the QB to exploit whatever weakness they have in the secondary.

Bama is the worst possible matchup for LSU.

would be a miracle to beat Bama with the huge talent edge they have in the trenches over us but somehow this team seems capable of miracles.

Hire young talented and proven Offensive Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator, pay them well, then get out of the way.

Regarding last years game, Danny Etling was hurt last year. I recall one play during the Bama game, believe it was a down and out (don't recall the receiver) Danny rolled out and threw the pass. I mean the guy was wide open and Danny simply did not get the ball to the receiver. I recall the ball dropped to the ground about five yards from the receiver. Ouch!! It was then that I realized Danny was hurt.

Off season, he had surgery on his back and it helped his throwing a lot. Sure, he doesn't throw a bullet but he's tuff, he keeps the interceptions low, manages the game well, and he can run in a crunch.

He is one tough young man, and a class act.

He makes throws like that this year too and he isn't hurt as far as we know.
