Realistically

pick one
1. Record at least 2 sacks?
2. Hold UW to less than 100 yds rushing?
3. Hold UW to under 10 points?
4. Score a defensive TD?
5. Have at least 1 interception?

My prediction? They'll go through growing pains having a new scheme and all. There will be break downs.

Know what they are supposed to do and execute. Works for me.

#1 should be a given. They have some inexperience on the OL and running QB's will sometimes take sacks trying to make a play.

Agree with Prominentwon, the defense will be good enough to beat Washington and first four foes.

They will improve from game to game, and the schedule sets up to where we should have a very good defense by the time we play Bama and Ole Miss, the teams I want to see us beat the worst.

Realistically 1,4, and 5.

I do not think they will be able to pass on us. So I think most of the game they will stick to their running game. They should get over 100 yards rushing but I'd expect a pretty low average per carry. Also points I'm going with we win by like 42 to 17.

Me neither. I can't imagine their WRs being a factor in the game.

With a gun to my head I'd pick that one but you made a list there that could come to fruition unless the UW O-line is much better than advertised. I think our running game is going to shine, put up decent points and force Locker to pass more than he's capable of. Too many of the same personnel on the field that gave up 450+ per game last year and at that played several inferior offenses. I do believe their present coaching will make them better as the season unwinds but it won't be enough to keep the game close this Saturday.
