With transfer portal, social media and NIL, you really can't.
Make them run puke drills?
Bench them?
Be prepared for there to be implications of racism from people with nothing better to do than stir up shite and for those kids to opt out and then transfer.
Saban had the same kind of kids from the same culture, and for the most part, Bama didn't have issues with this. Why? Because they knew that Saban wouldn't tolerate it. Saban didn't tolerate it even if up by 50 with 10 seconds left in the game.

If players believe they will not be benched and/or cut for such behavior, it will continue. Period. Full stop.

Lacy's replacement will be black. That replacement's replacement will be black.
The only white WR on the team is a walk-on, Ibieta.

the real reason Saban retired is that he sees the tailspin that we are in and wants his old job back
damn! the dog just woke me up, I was having the coolest dream

Install incentives. Bench anyone who gets an unsportsmanlike and you will eventually resolve the issue.

The discipline itself.
Punishing because of their "culture"
I'm not saying it's right, I'm just pointing out this issue.
And as for Saban, there's a reason he retired. The news landscape was a clear challenge to his methods.

It was simple back in the day. They just ran our asses off with a minute or two of updowns sprinkled in. If it was bad enough, 100yd bear crawls were certainly on the menu.

Lacy would sit at least the first half next week for his thug crap after the TD. Same with Burns for his dumbass penalty. That’s where I would start.

There is no new landscape for behavior. You want to earn money, eat free, get free rent and be given a free degree? Buckle up, Buttercup, leave that hood rat shite where it is and rise above it

These are basically still kids 18-22…. How do you teach them to control their emotions after big plays…? Do you bench them? Serious question… Two bone headed PI penalties pretty much cost the game.
it’s a louisiana thing
lsu teams in the past have done some incredibly dumb shite
first one that comes to my mind is when Rahim Allen in 2008 decided to punt the ball after a play
i couldn’t believe what i witnessed and it’s been dumb shite lapses after dump shite lapses ever since

Who would that be, since Kelly doesn't actually coach anymore. Lincoln Riley out hustled and out coached the entire LSU staff.

lol what? This started midway through Miles tenure and has gotten worse but it’s a relatively new problem at LSU.
Posted on 9/3/24 at 6:29 pm to Hangover Haven
They must fear the consequences of not being a team player all the time.

Ibieta isn’t a walk-on.
